Types of Cement
JK Lakshmi Cement comes in three variants:
Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) is the common grey cement widely used and it is known as the basic form of cement. The key components of this type of cement are Iron (Fe2O3), Magnesium (MgO), Silica (SiO2), Alumina (AL2O3), and Sulphur trioxide (SO3). The OPC cement is further divided into different grades, each with their own unique properties and features.
Another type of cement, the Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) helps in preventing cracks and hence it finds wide usage when there is a requirement of casting huge volumes of concrete. The key components of this type of cement are fly ash, burnt clay or coal waste.
While OPC Cement achieves early strength and is fast setting, PPC Cement is required when extra durability is needed and construction is on a mass scale.
Only JK Lakshmi Cement comes with the unique Mazbooti Guaranteed advantage. The Mazbooti advantage means consistency in strength, fineness, setting time, weight and colour.
