We are pleased to intimate that our Durg plant has been declared the WINNER of the Best Case Study on Safe and Reliable Electrical Distribution System in the 2nd Edition of National Electrical Safety, Power Quality and Reliability Circle Competition 2022 conducted by CII. This competition was held on a virtual platform on 20th – 21st December 2022.

In this competition many major industries like Hindalco, NTPC, Tata Motors, Asian Paints, Amplus Energy, JSW, Hyundai and cement companies like Ultra Tech, JK Cement Nimbahera also participated.

This has been possible due to persistent team support and continuous Guidance from JKLC Leadership.

CII 23rd Prestigious National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2022 Awarded to JKLC Sirohi unit. As" Excellent energy efficient unit" conferred at New Delhi.

We are delighted to share that JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd., Jhajjar Unit has been conferred with “Indian CSR Award for Best Women Employment Initiative of the Year (Corporate), 2022”. Award ceremony was organised by Honchos in association with TNS India Foundation and Fuel at Hyatt Regency. The Award was received by Company’s Jhajjar Unit Plant Head Shri Girish Choudhary and Shri Vishal Kumar Pal, CSR Lead at Jhajjar Unit and was handed over by Shri Rajat Sharma (Editor in chief India TV). The Award was provided for Madhubani Painting training imparted to women/ girls of plant intervention area to create self-employment opportunity for them. The intervention tries to give a source of alternate livelihood to the rural women. Through this intervention they can get an opportunity to earn and be financially independent.

Sh. Sanjeev Shroff (Unit Head – Kalol Grinding Unit) received the Award from Prof (Dr) D P Agrawal; Former Chairman, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on 10th March 2022 at Hotel Le Meridian , New Delhi.

JK Lakshmi Cement Limited Sirohi Unit is delighted to share that Shri Vinod Kumar Gupta Fitter Mechanical Maintenance is Awarded most prestigious “Vishwakarma Rashtriya Puraskar (V.R.P.) – 2018” in “Class C” instituted by DGFASALI Ministry of Labour and Employment Government of India.

Shri Vinod Kumar Gupta received the Award and cash prize of Rs 25000 from Honourable Minister Sh. Bhupendra Yadav (Union Cabinet Minister for Labour & Employment; and Environment, Forest & Climate Change) on 08 March 2022 at Vigyan Bhawan. He is the first in JKLCL who received this prestigious award and created a history.

The objective of the Vishwakarma Rashtriya Puraskar (V.R.P.) is to recognize the outstanding contributions made by a worker or a group of workers.

Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India constitutes a Tripartite Awards Committee having employees, employers, and Government representatives for the purpose of evaluation to adjudge the winners for the Class ‘A’, Class ‘B’ & Class ‘C’ Awards. There are a total 28 prizes under 3 classes. The number of prizes for Class ‘A’ is 5, each amounting to Rs.75,000/-; for Class ‘B’ is 8, each of Rs.50,000/-; and for Class ‘C’ is 15, each of Rs.25,000/-

Shri Vinod Gupta received this award for his outstanding contribution in modification of Kiln #2, clinker silo pan conveyor in-house modification which resulted in reduction of dust emission. In modification length of bag was increased without any huge investment. The cost of implementation was Rs 0.80 Lacs against installation of new dust collector (cost Rs 20 Lacs)

We are glad to inform you that our JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd., Durg unit, (C.G.) has been bagged the India’s one of the top prestigious Safety award, “1st Level NSCI Safety Awards -2021: SARVASHRESHTHA SURAKSHA PURASKAR (Golden Trophy) for (Manufacturing Sector) / Group-D (Engineering, Cement, Steel, etc.).” from National Safety Council under the (Ministry of labour & employment Government of India) after being shortlisted amongst 48th Group-D (Engineering, Cement, and Steel) Industries gone through for Physical Shop floor Safety management system audit followed by JKLC Durg Safety Management System presentation before Jury with special focus on elements of Safety management Systems implemented to achieve accident free 72 months.

We are delighted to share with you that “JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd. Surat Unit” has recognized and awarded with its 1st prestigious “4th Level NSCI Safety Award – “PRASHANSA PATRA - 2021” organized by “National Safety Council of India” for “Implementation of Best Safety Practices and Zero Reportable Accident”. The award will be given at the month of May 2022 in the presence of Union Minister of labour (Independent) Government of India & Director General of National Safety Council India.

This has been possible due to persistent team support and continuous Guidance from JKLC Leadership. We are determined to continue this culture of safety in our Unit.

Although It was a rigorous process, but the efforts were worthwhile at the end.

We are extremely glad to inform that JKLC Jhajjar Unit received the utmost prestigious & highest level award “National Safety Award – 2018” from instituted by Director General Factory Advise Services and Labor Institute; Ministry of Labor and Employment Government of India.

The applications were adjudged by Tripartite Awards committee constituted by the Ministry of Labor and consisting of not less than five members selected solely on the basis of their experience and technical ability.

JKLCL-Jhajjar Unit received its 5th time recognition in area of Industrial Safety under Scheme-VI of National Safety Award which stands for Factories/Construction sites/, working less than half million (5 lakhs) man-hours subject to a minimum of one quarter million (2.5 lakh) man-hours & based on accident free year.
